Hněvín Castle
Hněvín Castle is a stunning hilltop castle with panoramic views of the countryside from the Krušné Mountains to the Central Bohemian Highlands. The historic castle's origins date back to the 12th century when castle's strategic position made it a prominent target, and was often besieged by enemies. In the 19th Century, the castle was rebuilt as a restaurant, only to be destroyed again, this time by a storm. Today, the castle has been rebuilt once more and serves as a popular restaurant, private event venue and tourist accommodation.
