About Fichtelberg
On the Summit of the Fichtelberg stands the Fichtelberg House (Fichtelberghaus) with its observation tower, a weather station, a prominent triangulation station of the Royal Saxon Survey from 1864 and the scenic Friedensglocke memorial park with its amazing bell. The Fichtelberg Cable Car runs up the eastern slope of the mountain from Oberwiesenthal to a point near the summit. The summit is filled with stunning panoramic views and scenic hiking trails through the lush forest. (Oberwiesenthal, Germany)
