Hornibrook Pier

Hornibrook Pier stretches out into Hays Inlet right beside the Houghton Highway Bridge creating a perfect shooting location. Hornibrook Pier is the remaining historical remnant of the original Hornibrook Bridge, a highway which connected the Redcliffe Peninsula to Brisbane's northern suburbs. Despite the two new bridges (Houghton Highway and Ted Smout Memorial Bridge) the original Hornibrook Bridge portals, north and south, still stand today and are heritage listed.
