This cable-stayed bridge spans Lake Champlain between New York and Vermont, offering a clean, modern structure set against a backdrop of mountains and open water that makes it a strong architectural and landscape subject. You can shoot from the shoreline on either side to frame the bridge with the Adirondacks to the west or the Green Mountains to the east, giving you very different backdrops depending on where you stand. The New York side near Crown Point has more open access to the water and lets you get low and use the lake's surface as a foreground element. A wide-to-mid zoom in the 24-70mm range works well for most compositions here. Golden hour light is worth prioritizing, with sunrise illuminating the Vermont side and sunset warming the New York side and the mountains behind it. The area is uncrowded and easy to access by car.
