Landscape Arch
Landscape Arch, located in the Devils Garden area of Arches National Park in Utah, is one of the longest natural arches in the world, stretching an impressive 290 feet. Its delicate, ribbon-like structure contrasts beautifully with the rugged red rock landscape, making it a prime subject for photography. The arch is best photographed in the morning or late afternoon when the warm light enhances its striking colors and textures. A relatively easy 1.6-mile (round-trip) hike leads to the viewpoint, passing through scenic desert terrain. Due to its fragility, getting close to the arch is prohibited, but the designated viewing areas still provide excellent compositions. Visiting in cooler months can help avoid the intense summer heat.
