The Millennium Bridge offers one of the most balanced views along the River Liffey, sitting at a point where the quays stretch symmetrically in both directions, giving you strong leading lines toward the city center in one direction and toward the docklands in the other. The bridge's curved pedestrian walkway and ironwork railings make excellent foreground elements, and shooting low from the bridge deck emphasizes the perspective and reflections on the water below. Blue hour and golden hour both reward you here, with the warm glow of quayside buildings and street lamps reflecting cleanly on the Liffey when the water is calm. A wide angle lens in the 16 to 24mm range suits the sweeping river views, while a short telephoto compresses the Ha'penny Bridge nicely from this vantage point. The bridge is pedestrian only and open around the clock, so you can shoot without traffic interference. (Dublin, Leinster, Ireland)
