Old Man of Storr
Old Man of Storr, located on the Trotternish Peninsula of the Isle of Skye, is one of Scotland’s most iconic and photogenic landscapes. This towering pinnacle of rock rises sharply from the rugged hills, surrounded by sweeping views of the Sound of Raasay and rolling green slopes. The hike to the viewpoint is moderately steep but well-marked, taking about 45 minutes to an hour. Photographers are rewarded with breathtaking scenes, especially at sunrise when golden light casts long shadows and mists drift through the valleys below. The area is accessible year-round, though conditions can be muddy or icy depending on the season. With its dramatic scenery and atmospheric weather, the Old Man of Storr is a must-visit for landscape photographers. (Isle of Skye, Scotland)
