Taigh Thormoid Dhuibh
This Isolated Bothy is located in the northern part of Isle of Raasay, which is reached first by driving along Callum's Road which was constructed by just one man with a wheelbarrow, pick-axe and shovel. He upgraded the pre-existing narrow path in an attempt to preserve the community at Arnish, which took him ten years. He was awarded a British Empire Medal for his efforts. After you reach the end of the road it's still quite a hike in along the beautifully scenic path to reach this Bothy which is maintained by the Mountain Bothies Association.
