Rozhledna Doubravka is a rustic wooden lookout tower built from thick natural branches, rising 20 meters above the forested Horka Hill on the eastern edge of Prague. Its organic, handcrafted structure makes it photogenic both as a subject and as a vantage point, with panoramic views stretching across the city and surrounding greenery. Shoot the tower itself from the base using a wide angle lens to emphasize its raw, woven timber construction against the sky. From the top, a standard zoom works well for compressing the Prague skyline or pulling in distant landmarks. Golden hour in the morning brings warm side light through the trees at the base, while overcast days soften shadows and suit detail shots of the branch-work architecture. The tower is accessible via a short forest walk, and the platform does sway noticeably, so keep that in mind if shooting at slower shutter speeds. (Prague, Czechia)
