Located on the west side of the entrance to the canal in Les Coteaux. Built in 1902 and became inactive since 1960. It is a 11 m (35 ft) cast iron tower with lantern, painted in a gaudy red, white, and blue pattern. The lighthouse was discontinued when the canal was closed following inauguration of the St. Lawrence Seaway. The tower has recently been restored; it is an attraction in a riverside public campground. --from Wikipedia
