Southampton Sand Dunes and Grasses
While shipwrecks dot the Lake Huron lakebed off the coast of Southampton, the beautiful sandy beach which stretches for kilometres is home to sand dunes and rare dune grass. These grasses help the area serve as part of the Appellation and Songbird migration routes. Chantry Island and its lighthouse sits on the horizon. (Southampton, Ontario, Canada)
