St Bartholomew the Great is one of the oldest churches in London, originally founded in 1123 as part of a priory and incredibly it is still standing today with most of its medieval structure. The building has a heavy stone look with rounded arches, and thick columns that feel imposing as soon as you step inside. The dim light, layered textures, and detailed stonework give you plenty to work with, especially for moodier shots. Outside, the entrance and surrounding courtyard offer quieter angles that feel removed from the busy streets nearby. It is a great spot if you are looking for something with history and atmosphere, plus it works well if you can take your time and look for smaller details as well as wider views.
