Turtle Haven (ponds)
On Glenelg Road 23 (between Grey Road 12 & Concession Road 8 just southwest of Markdale) there are a couple of small (un-named ponds) on either side of the road that are home to turtles and other wildlife. Local residents have posted signs asking motorists to "drive slowly and be aware of turtles crossing the road" - so please be careful as you are approaching and shooting in this area.
