Urania Stenwarte
Urania Sternwarte, a historic public observatory in the heart of Zürich, is a unique photo spot that combines early 20th-century architecture with panoramic views of the city. From its rooftop platform, photographers can capture sweeping cityscapes, with the Limmat River, church spires, and distant Alps creating a striking backdrop. By night, the observatory also offers opportunities for astrophotography through its 12-ton Zeiss telescope, one of the oldest of its kind still in use. Located just off Bahnhofstrasse, it is easily accessible by foot or public transit, and evening tours provide a rare chance to shoot the city skyline under the stars. (Zürich, Switzerland)
