About View over Kefalonia
The white cliffs of Cape Skinari sit on the the northernmost point of Zakynthos surrounded by amazing views out over the bay. The limestone here is nearly white. Where it meets the sea, the water turns a bright turquoise over the pale stone. On clear days Kefalonia Island appears along the horizon to the north. From the clifftop you can watch the boats winding in and out of the sea caves below. A telephoto, and some patience to watch for just the right boat, pulls a single boat out against the turquoise, while a wide lens takes in the cliff edge and open sea. Midday sun brings the water to its brightest blue tones, but it also flattens the white of pale cliffs so you'll have to decide which one you would rather highlight. Make sure to plan extra time to stay for sunset, the wide open bay takes on amazing colours as the sun drops to your west over the water. (Volimes, Ionian Islands, Greece)
