Campuhan Ridge Walk

Campuhan Ridge Walk follows a narrow spine of land between two river valleys just outside central Ubud, offering sweeping views over rolling green hills covered in tropical vegetation. The path itself, a paved walkway lined with low grass and scrub, works well as a leading line drawing the eye deep into the frame, especially when shot low and wide with a 16-35mm lens. Early morning is the best time to visit, ideally just after sunrise when mist still lingers in the valleys below and the light is soft and directional before the midday haze sets in. You will also avoid the crowds that build up later in the day. Start from the Pura Gunung Lebah temple end and walk out toward the open ridge for the most unobstructed compositions.
