The Tower is world-renowned as a subject for photography and for its classic rock climbing routes, people come from around the world to tackle the challenge of climbing it. Castle Rock can be accessed by a trail that begins south of the tower at a camp ground. With its wide open skies, this area is also perfect for experimenting with astrophotography.
