Chittenango Falls
Chittenango Falls is a 167-foot waterfall that cascades over roughly 400-million-year-old bedrock. At the bottom of the falls the meandering Chittenango Creek flows underneath a wooden bridge. The falls sit in the heart of Chittenango Falls State Park, where you can view the falls from the top, walk the winding trail into the gorge view the falls from the footbridge and return to the top along the small trail on the opposite side of the gorge. Park your car in the well marked / paved parking lot and go exploring in this absolutely pristine landscape. (Chittenango Falls State Park, New York)
