The Creek Marina Promenade wraps around one of Dubai's newer waterfront developments, giving you close-up access to sleek residential towers, yacht berths, and the open creek beyond. The reflection of the buildings on the still marina water is one of the strongest compositions here, so shoot low and use a wide angle to pull in both the towers above and their mirror image below. Long exposures work particularly well in the evening when the lights from the buildings and moored boats create warm streaks across the water. Golden hour and the blue hour just after sunset are the most rewarding times to visit, as the artificial lighting kicks in while the sky still holds some color. The promenade is flat and easy to walk, with multiple vantage points along its length, so take time to explore rather than stopping at just one spot.
