Al Jadaf Walk
Al Jadaf Walk is a paved waterfront promenade running along the Dubai Creek Harbour side, giving you an unobstructed, wide-angle view of the downtown Dubai skyline across the open water. The distance between you and the towers works in your favor, allowing you to fit the full skyline into a single frame without distortion, and the calm bay often gives you usable reflections in the foreground. Sunset is the prime time to be here, as the sun drops behind the Burj Khalifa and the surrounding towers, creating strong silhouettes with warm, glowing skies above. Blue hour is equally rewarding as the city lights come on and balance nicely with the fading sky. A wide-angle lens works well for the full panorama, but a short telephoto lets you compress and isolate specific towers. The path is flat, open, and easy to walk, with plenty of positions to experiment with along its length. (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
