Dubai Frame
Standing 150 meters tall in Zabeel Park, the Dubai Frame is a giant rectangular structure designed to frame two eras of the city at once, with old Dubai visible through one side and the modern skyline through the other. From ground level, position yourself far back to capture the full structure against the sky, using a wide angle lens to include the surrounding park in your foreground. The symmetry of the frame makes it ideal for centered compositions, and the gold cladding catches warm light beautifully during golden hour. Shooting from the south side gives you the gleaming towers of new Dubai framed within the structure, while the north side reveals the historic Deira district. Early morning offers softer light and fewer crowds. The park grounds give you plenty of room to experiment with distance and angle, and a 24-35mm lens works well for environmental shots.
