Zabeel Park Pagoda
This striking red Japanese pagoda sits within Zabeel Park and offers a rare compositional opportunity in Dubai, placing traditional Asian architecture directly in front of the towering Dubai Frame. The alignment between the two structures is the shot to go for; position yourself on the path leading toward the pagoda and use a moderate telephoto lens, around 70-135mm, to compress the distance and stack the pagoda against the Frame rising behind it. A wider lens works well if you want to include the surrounding palms and greenery for context. Golden hour light in the late afternoon catches the red tiers of the pagoda beautifully, and the warm tones complement the metallic Frame in the background. The park has an entrance fee and opens in the morning, so arriving early on weekdays gives you the best chance of a clear foreground without crowds. (Za'abeel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
