Sheikh Zayed Road View
Sheikh Zayed Road cuts through the heart of Dubai as one of the most visually dense urban corridors in the world, lined on both sides with towers that make for a dramatic canyon-like skyline. The most rewarding composition here is a low, centered shot looking north or south along the highway, using the lanes and barriers as converging leading lines that draw the eye deep into the wall of skyscrapers. A telephoto lens in the 70-200mm range compresses the buildings beautifully and emphasizes the density of the architecture. Shoot at blue hour or just after sunset when the tower lights are on but the sky still holds color, as harsh midday light flattens the scene. Overpasses and elevated walkways give you a slightly elevated angle that improves your sightlines over traffic. Be mindful of where you stand and avoid stepping onto active road infrastructure.
