Grabkapelle auf dem Württemberg (Sepuchral Chapel on Württemberg hill) was erected by King Wilhelm I in memory of his beloved second wife Queen Catherine. Before her death, Queen Catherine had asked to be buried on the Württemberg, so King William I had the castle demolished in 1819. The remains of William I, Catherine, and their daughter Maria Friederike Charlotte are housed in the mausoleum. This Monument to eternal love has a stunning view looking out over the surrounding vineyard and all of Stuttgart. (Stuttgart, Germany)
