Jerry Driscoll Walk
Jerry Driscoll Walk runs along the Manhattan waterfront in the South Street Seaport area, offering one of the most layered bridge views in New York City. From this stretch you can frame both the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge stacked in the same shot, with the East River in the foreground and Brooklyn's skyline behind. The wide promenade gives you room to shift your position and adjust how much separation you want between the two bridges. A wide-angle lens works well for capturing the full scene, while a longer focal length lets you compress the bridges together for a more dramatic effect. Golden hour and blue hour are both excellent here; sunrise brings soft warm light from the east that hits the bridge cables beautifully, and the period just after sunset gives you deep blue skies with the city lights beginning to glow. The walkway is flat, open, and easy to access year-round. (New York City, New York, United States)
