The Johnston Canyon Cave is an amazing hidden gem tucked away along the trail in between the Upper and Lower falls. The Johnston Creek has slowly eroded the cliff face away to create an amazing cave and unique rock formation towering about the creek bed. The dirt trail can be tricky to spot, although since it's a popular spot there is usually hikers around to follow. When you are about 130-150 meters away from the Upper Falls you'll turn right down a dirt trail. If you get to the Upper Falls viewing platform you have missed this dirt path. The dramatic Johnston Canyon is a breathtaking natural attraction in Banff National Park. Overhanging canyon walls, waterfalls, the deep pools of Johnston Creek, and lush forest are overflowing with amazing shooting opportunities. (Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada)
