Johnston Canyon, Lower Falls

Johnston Canyon’s Lower Falls offers a captivating setting for nature and waterfall photography. The falls plunge into a vivid turquoise pool, framed by steep limestone cliffs and lush forest. A well-maintained catwalk leads through the canyon, providing multiple vantage points and a tunnel that opens to a viewing platform near the base of the falls. The dynamic contrast between the rushing water and rugged rock walls creates excellent opportunities for long-exposure shots.
