Kloster Allerheiligen Ruins
Kloster Allerheiligen (All Saints' Abbey) is a former monastery that dates back to 1192. Legend has it that the site of the building was determined by a donkey that threw off a sack of money at this remote and inaccessible spot. In the early 1800's the order was dissolved and the monastery fell into ruins. It was later sold for demolition and used as a quarry for stone and scrap for churches in the surrounding valleys.
