Les Quatre Barres
Rising from the waterfront near Port Olímpic, this striking sculpture by Ricard Bofill features four tall marble columns arranged to evoke the four red stripes of the Catalan flag, creating a bold geometric composition against the Barcelona skyline. Shoot from low angles to emphasize the height and drama of the columns, or step back to include the surrounding esplanade and sea in the frame. The reflective marble surfaces respond beautifully to golden hour light, both at sunrise when the columns catch warm tones from the east, and at sunset when the city glow adds depth behind them.
