Moll de Xaloc
Moll de Xaloc is a broad pier jutting into the Port of Barcelona, offering wide-open views of the harbor, the city skyline, and the surrounding waterfront without the crowds that cluster along La Barceloneta. From the tip of the pier, you can shoot back toward the city with the port activity and moored vessels in the foreground, or turn outward to capture the open Mediterranean. A wide-angle lens works well here for sweeping panoramas, while a longer focal length lets you compress the skyline against the water. Golden hour and blue hour are the strongest times to visit; sunset bathes the city-facing compositions in warm light, and the transition into dusk brings out the harbor reflections and city glow. The pier is fully open and flat, so you can move freely and experiment with low angles along the edge railing. (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain)
