Perched high along the hiking trail in Clear Water Bay Country Park, this exposed ridgeline viewpoint looks out over the rugged coastline of Lobster Bay, with dramatic cliffs, deep blue water, and layered headlands receding into the distance. Wide-angle lenses work well here for capturing the full sweep of the bay and the rocky terrain in the foreground. For landscape shots, arrive at golden hour when the low sun rakes across the cliffs and brings out the texture of the hillside; sunrise offers softer, cooler tones while sunset saturates the water with warm color. After dark, the lack of dense urban light in this direction makes it a genuine astrophotography spot, with the bay providing a natural foreground anchor for Milky Way compositions.
