Perched on a dramatic rocky promontory jutting into the Adriatic, this small but striking 18th-century chapel is one of the most photogenic coastal churches in northern Italy. The building's pale facade and bell tower contrast beautifully against the deep blue sea, and the rugged rock base gives the composition a sense of solidity and isolation. Shoot from the beach to the east to capture the chapel with the water wrapping around it on three sides, or get low on the rocks at high tide for a more dramatic foreground. Golden hour light, especially in the morning, wraps the facade in warm tones and creates strong reflections in the wet stone. A mid-range zoom in the 24-70mm range handles most angles well. The area is walkable from Caorle's town center, and the surrounding shoreline gives you room to experiment with wide establishing shots or tighter architectural details.
