Montreal Skyline

From the walkway along Cité du Havre, right across the water from Habitat 67, the whole of downtown Montreal lines up in a single wide sweep. The harbour sits still and glassy in front of you, and on a calm evening it doubles the skyline in near-perfect reflection. The stone buildings and lit promenade of the Old Port run along the far shore, with the taller glass and steel of the financial district stacked behind. A modern glass tower anchors the right edge. Fantastic at blue hour, is when the water is calmest and the reflections hold. The path is public and flat, easy to walk, with room to set up a tripod away from foot traffic.
