Mount Faber Hilltop View
Perched at one of Singapore's highest points, this hilltop lookout delivers sweeping panoramas across the Sentosa cable car route, the southern islands, and on clear days, the hazy outline of Indonesia's Batam island. Looking north, the downtown skyline rises above the treeline, giving you a strong cityscape subject that works especially well at dusk when the buildings begin to light up and the sky transitions through warm tones. Shoot wide to capture the full sweep of the horizon, or use a telephoto to compress the cable car gondolas against the city backdrop for a more graphic composition. Blue hour and golden hour both reward patience here. The hilltop is accessible by road or via the Southern Ridges trail, which passes through Henderson Waves and offers additional compositions along the way.
