Position yourself along the riverbank or the park's lower boardwalk level to keep the bridge low in the frame while the tower anchors the background. A medium telephoto lens in the 70-135mm range works well for compressing the layers and isolating the architecture. Blue hour and early morning are ideal, when the soft light reflects off the water and the city's lights still glow; midday sun can be harsh and flattens the scene.
