Pottergate - The City of Stories
Designed by Julia Allum, stacks of books are used to create a Norfolk landscape, with the river Wensum running through Bishops bridge into a broads scene on the left of the mural. This is part of a project by the Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) with the aim of reviving the vacant and tired spaces in the city. The large-scale paintings follow the theme "City of Stories". The mural depicted here can be seen opposite St John the Baptist's church in Pottergate.
