Reine Horn is a dramatic rocky headland rising sharply from the water at the edge of one of Lofoten's most photographed villages, offering a striking natural focal point that anchors nearly every composition in the area. The small footbridge nearby is your best starting position, giving you a clean foreground element that leads the eye directly toward the jagged peak reflected in the calm fjord below. Symmetrical reflections are the signature shot here, so arrive when wind is low and the water is glassy, which often happens in the early morning hours. The blue hour before sunrise and the long golden hour light of the Arctic summer are both exceptional, painting the rock face in warm tones against moody skies. A wide angle lens in the 16 to 24mm range works well to capture the bridge, reflection, and peak together. The footbridge is a short walk from the village center and is accessible year round.
