Ruine Neu-Falkenstein
Ruine Neu-Falkenstein is a historic hilltop castle built by the Bechburgs in the 12th century. 1798 saw the destruction of the proud castle in a fire and is has been left abandoned ever since. As it sits high on a hill the castle is only accessible on foot, the hike does get steep but the views make the effort well worth it. (Balsthal, Switzerland)
