The SkyWalk is an enclosed glass and metal pedestrian corridor cutting through the heart of Toronto's downtown core, offering a dramatic architectural subject that rewards careful composition. The curved structure creates natural leading lines that draw the eye deep into the frame, and the interplay of steel ribs, glass panels, and the light filtering through makes for strong geometric shots. You get the best results shooting along the length of the corridor from a low angle to exaggerate the perspective, or positioning yourself where the curve bends to add depth. Overcast days work well here since the diffused light reduces harsh reflections on the glass, though golden hour can produce warm tones through the panels. A wide angle lens in the 16 to 24mm range suits the space well. The walkway connects Union Station to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre and is accessible on foot year round. (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
