St. Mary's Parish - Photo by Shawn M. Kent1 / 1

As one of the oldest parishes in the Diocese of Pembroke, established in 1848, St. Mary's Parish in Quyon, Quebec, is steeped in history. The current church, built in 1907, replaced or encapsulated the original church constructed in 1877. Located near the ferry and the shore of the Ottawa River, this picturesque site offers photographers a wealth of opportunities. Its historical architecture combined with the scenic surroundings provides an enchanting backdrop for memorable photographs. Whether capturing its grand facade or framing its steeple as a backdrop against the serene riverscape, St. Mary's Parish is a photography spot not to be missed. (Quyon, Quebec, Canada)
