Tucked into the heart of Dublin, St. Stephen's Green is a Victorian park built around a central ornamental lake, offering a surprisingly lush escape from the surrounding city streets. The weeping willows, stone bridges, and duck-populated lake make for classic compositions, and the park's formal layout gives you natural leading lines through flowerbeds and pathways. Autumn is the standout season here, when the canopy turns gold and amber and fallen leaves frame the water's edge beautifully. Shoot in the early morning on weekdays to avoid crowds and catch soft, even light filtering through the trees; overcast days actually work well by reducing harsh shadows under the canopy. A 24-70mm lens covers most situations, from wide environmental shots to tighter frames of the waterfall and sculptures. The park opens at dawn, and the north entrance on Grafton Street gives you a strong symmetrical approach shot. (Dublin, Leinster, Ireland)
