Svörtuloft Lighthouse
Svörtuloft Lighthouse is a striking bright orange structure perched on the edge of dark lava cliffs at the far western tip of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Its bold color contrasts dramatically with the surrounding black rock and the crashing waves of the North Atlantic, making it an exceptional location for seascape and minimalist photography. The area offers sweeping coastal views and opportunities to capture seabirds and moody Icelandic skies. Caution is essential here, as many of the cliffs are heavily undercut and unstable, and getting too close to the edge can be dangerous. A gravel road leads directly to a small parking area near the lighthouse, making access easy. (Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland)
