George's Quay Plaza is a striking modern office complex on the south bank of the Liffey, best photographed from the quayside directly across the river on Burgh Quay or Eden Quay, where you get a clean reflection shot of its glass facade with the iconic Custom House sitting in the foreground. The contrast between the neoclassical Custom House and the contemporary tower behind it is the real compositional prize here, so use a wider lens to capture both in the same frame. A telephoto can compress that layering even further and make the juxtaposition feel more dramatic. Overcast days work surprisingly well, softening harsh reflections on the glass and giving the Custom House facade an even, flattering light.
