Tour Coeur Defense
Standing at the heart of La Défense, this massive twin-tower complex offers some of the most striking architectural geometry you will find anywhere in Paris. The towers frame a dramatic open void between them, and shooting straight up through that central gap gives you a powerful symmetrical composition with sky cutting through glass and steel. A wide angle lens in the 16-24mm range works best here, letting you exaggerate the converging lines and scale. The surrounding plaza gives you room to step back and capture the full facade, while getting close and pointing your camera upward creates intense abstract shots. Overcast days soften harsh reflections on the glass, but bright blue sky days add strong contrast to the metallic surfaces.
