Tour EDF is a sleek, elliptical glass skyscraper rising 165 meters above La Défense, and its curved facade makes it stand out among the angular towers surrounding it. The reflective surface picks up color beautifully at golden hour, when warm light plays across the glass and creates subtle gradients you won't get in flat midday conditions. For compositions, try shooting from ground level looking up to emphasize the tower's tapering form, or pull back toward the Grande Arche esplanade to include neighboring towers for a sense of scale and urban density. A wide-angle lens in the 16-24mm range works well for dramatic upward perspectives, while a short telephoto lets you isolate the facade's texture and reflections. The area is fully pedestrianized and easy to navigate, and the RER A or Metro Line 1 will drop you right at the foot of the district. (La Défense, Île-de-France, France)
