Trümmelbachfäll
Trümmelbachfäll is a breathtaking series of ten glacial waterfalls hidden within a towering limestone gorge in Lauterbrunnen Valley. Fed by the melting ice of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains, these falls carry up to 20,000 liters of water per second, carving dramatic rock formations over centuries. A network of tunnels, walkways, and viewing platforms allows photographers to capture the raw power of the cascading water, illuminated by natural and artificial light. The contrast of rushing water against rugged stone creates striking compositions, especially in long-exposure shots. The falls are only accessible from April to November, with an entrance fee required. Trümmelbachfäll is an unforgettable location for photographing the force and beauty of nature up close.
