Vuurtoren Noorderhoofd
Vuurtoren Noorderhoofd, also known as Westkapelle Laag, is a striking lighthouse looking out over the rugged North Sea. Built in 1875, the compact red tower with its bold black stripe stands directly against the crashing waves of the North Sea, making it a dramatic subject for coastal photography. Photographers can capture minimalist compositions with the tower framed by sea and sky, or use the shoreline as a leading line. Sunsets here are particularly impressive, with the lighthouse silhouetted against glowing skies. Easily accessible by car or bicycle, the site is a popular stop along the Zeeland coast for maritime and landscape photography. (Westkapelle, Netherlands)
