Welcome Tower is a striking 30-foot sculptural installation modeled after Coit Tower, built entirely from reclaimed wooden doors painted in vivid decorative styles representing San Francisco's historic neighborhoods. The layered textures, bold colors, and ornate painted surfaces reward close inspection as much as wide establishing shots.
