Vaillancourt Fountain (sometimes called Quebec libre!) is a large fountain that is about 40 feet (12 m) high. It's constructed out of precast concrete square tubes for the water to flow out of at various angles. The concrete is very rough and textured, giving the fountain an unfinished feeling even though it was built in 1971. (San Fransisco, California)
