The square rewards wide-angle shooting, letting you capture the full wrap of screens and signage towering above the crowd, but a longer focal length lets you isolate faces, reflections, and graphic details within the chaos. After dark is when the square truly comes alive, with the artificial light turning the wet pavement into a mirror on rainy nights, giving you strong reflections to work with.
